Преобразователи частоты Омрон 3G3MX2 выпускают со степенью защиты IP20 (модели 3G3MX2-A) и со степенью защиты IP54 (модели 3G3MX2-D).
Частотный преобразователь Omron 3G3MX2 является многофункциональным, но при этом, после обновления привод 3G3MX2 получил ряд дополнительных функций, таких как "пожарный режим". Это актуально для таких применений, как автоматизация зданий. Включив "пожарный режим" инвертор будет игнорировать возникающие ошибки из-за которых в обычном режиме он бы вышел в режим останова. Такой режим позволяет, например, в системах удаления дыма, функционировать пока люди не покинут здание. Так же усовершенствованы алгоритмы управления двигателем, функции простого позиционирования, работы импульсного входа, коммуникационных функций и работы со встроенным контроллером.

- Двойная шкала мощности VT 120%/1 мин и CT 150%/1 мин.
